Les employés actuels du Réseau de la santé et services sociaux éligibles peuvent bénéficier d'un congé sans solde pour œuvrer dans un établissement nordique pouvant aller jusqu'à 60 mois. L'affichage en anglais suivra l'affichage en français.

Current eligible employees of the Health and Social Services system can take advantage of an unpaid leave to work in a Nordic establishment for up to 60 months. English follows french posting.

Fonctions Spécifiques/Specific functions

Offrir une assistance et accompagnement physique aux patients dans le but de participer à l’amélioration ou au maintien de leur état de santé. Assurer une présence auprès des patients, les aider dans les différents moments de la journée (lever, hygiène, coucher et repas) en leur offrant du soutien pour se vêtir, se nourrir, se laver. Toutes leurs tâches visent à respecter la dignité et l’intégrité des patients afin de contribuer à leur bien-être. Il fait partie de l’équipe de soins et participera aux équipe interdisciplinaire. Ils collaborent également avec les membres de l’unité de soins infirmiers et agissent à titre de premiers intervenants dans certaines situations. ******************Offer assistance and physical accompaniment to patients in order to participate in the improvement or maintenance of their state of health. Ensure a presence with patients, help them at different times of the day (lifting, hygiene, bedtime and meals) by offering support to dress, eat and wash. All of their tasks in respect of the dignity and integrity of patients, in order to contribute to their well-being. The person is part of the care team and will participate in the interdisciplinary team; will also collaborate with members of the nursing unit and act as first responders in certain situations.

Exigences spécifiques/Specific Requirements

Détenir un diplôme d’études professionnelles en assistance à la personne en établissement et à domicile. L’absence de diplôme peut être compenser par une expérience dans le domaine. Bilinguisme anglais/français, parlé et écrit, est essentiel et l’Inuktitut est un atout 2 ans d’expérience en milieu de soins de longues durées, et/ou en maintien à domicile Facilité et efficacité à travailler en équipe Capacité d’adaptation à un milieu de travail différent et une expérience de travail en région nordique et/ou dans un autre milieu culturel est un atout. Aimer travailler en contact avec le public et la clientèle en perte d’autonomie physique et cognitive Avoir une facilité d’écoute et à communiquer Sens des responsabilités et assiduité Faire preuve d’initiative, maturité et d’autonomie Bonne capacité physique pour soulever des charges lourdes Bonne forme physique *****Have a professional education diploma in personal assistance at the institution and in homecare. The lack of a degree could be compensated by sufficient experience in the field.
