As a geo-diverse studio, our team members around the globe can either work from home, in the office, or a hybrid of both.

Location: Hybrid 3 days a week onsite the studio in Vancouver, Edmonton, or Montreal.

Regular Employee Full Time

As a Producer, you will partner with a development director, engineers, artists and discipline leads to deliver high quality features and updates to Skate™ in regular updates to our players. You will lead the product team within a larger studio structure to oversee specific areas of brand new and existing features.

You will report to the Features Lead Producer.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and Empower: Lead by example through transparent and regular updates to your team.
  • Execution & Delivery: Collaborate with development directors and discipline leads on sprint planning and scheduling. Ensure scope, timing, and quality goals are met.
  • Product Roadmap Partnership: Collaborate with other producers and leadership to manage the feature roadmap, aligning priorities between design and engineering teams.
  • Vision Support: Help articulate and promote quality targets in collaboration with leads and directors.
  • Live Development: Participate in regular playtests. understand and build an action plan for player feedback for your game areas. Review bugs and prioritize fixes for upcoming releases.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and help resolve implementation issues and organizational improvements.
  • Communication Hub: Keep stakeholders at all levels informed of progress, risks, and changes.
  • Culture of Learning: Constantly seek to improve production methods and studio culture by applying lessons learned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in production roles within game development.
  • Experience working on Live Service games.
  • Shipped at least one AAA title or complex system-heavy game.
  • Experience working multi-discipline game teams across UI, design, engineering, and other roles.
  • Agile mindset, comfortable in dynamic, iterative development cycles.
  • Abilitly to summarise technical discussions into clear action items and decisions.
  • Experience managing game quality and committed timelines.

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$130,800 - $183,000 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
