As an Intermediate Systems Analyst, you will support the design and delivery of technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements, model business processes and information flows, and support the development and testing of system solutions. Reporting to the Manager, Business Solutions, this opportunity suits a critical thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and collaborating with teams to deliver effective business solutions.

- Support the management team/stakeholders in understanding and defining their IT business and system requirements needed to support current and future business applications.
- Perform a requirement analysis and work with Enterprise and Technical Architecture, to understand potential solutions to meet the business needs.
- Prepare process design/modelling, information design/modelling to review with the Manager, IT Business Solution and determine the design solution will best meet the overall business objectives.
- Working in an agile/scrum or waterfall environment and/or support environment with other Information Technology team members, vendors and business partners will design solutions, based on business requirements.
- Work with Developers to develop modules based on approved design specifications.
- Plan unit testing of modules, working with Systems and Regression test teams.
- Support the Business during User Acceptance Testing.
- Work closely with other IT team members to ensure architectural integrity and product quality.
- Prepare all supporting documentation including project estimates, documentation on all changes to business architecture, etc.
- Dependent on project may be responsible for selecting/procuring services and software from vendors; configuring ‘Off the Shelf’ solutions including interaction with vendors; supporting project team members through the development and implementation stage of projects or support.
- Ensure deadlines are met with a high level of quality, while adhering to architectural principles and following defined processes.
- Ensure issues are escalated in a timely and appropriate manner, by establishing good communication and relationships with team members and management.
We’re looking for:
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst supporting enterprise applications.
- Experience working with Manhattan Associates systems, including WM Active, or similar warehouse management platforms.
- Experience supporting unit and system testing, including validating solutions against business and technical requirements.
- Solid understanding of multiple SDLC methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
- Demonstrated understanding of ITIL or software development best practices and processes.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and business partners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Initiative-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- May be required to work irregular hours to support applications or meet project deadlines.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.

- The expected starting salary range for this role is**$70,600 - $98,800**; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
