Job Description RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position Summary A Research Assistant is a career researcher who assists a senior researcher. The duties of a Research Assistant must involve a substantial degree of intellectual initiative in the execution of his or her duties.

General Duties Under The Direction Of The Immediate Supervisor, The Incumbent

  • Work with the principal investigators to design and conduct projects focused on the implementation of evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes in routine clinical practice,
  • Liaise with external collaborators,
  • Engage in administrative duties related to projects,
  • Assist with reports, manuscripts, and grant applications.

Education / Experience

Education: Master's Degree

Field of study: Health Science

Work experience: 0 to 6 months.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of oral and written French is required.
  • An intermediate knowledge of oral and written English is required, as the position requires regular and complex contact with researchers or international students who are exclusively proficient in English.

Additional information

Status: Temporary Part-Time, 20 hours per workweek.

Pay Scale: $27.32 - $50.74 Commensurate with education and experience

Work Shift: Variable Schedule

Work Site: Glen Site, 1001 Decarie Blvd.

This position offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote).
