This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Oshawa Elevation Centre, 3 times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business].

The Role:
At General Motors we pride ourselves on designing, building and selling the world's best vehicles. The Accessories team is focused on enhancing the style, performance, comfort, protection, and functionality of GM vehicles with world-class accessories products across our Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick brands. As a Co-op student intern for Accessories Operations, you will gain hands-on career specific experiences to maximize your real world potential and have direct impact on growing our successful Accessories business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Co-op will assist the Accessories operations initiatives (product, pricing, placements, inventory management and promotions) and day-to-day Accessories business management.
- Review, maintain, and update Accessories product information across the entire vehicle portfolio.
- Provide sales and marketing data analysis support to the team.
- Support Accessories order management & fulfillment by working with supply chain stakeholders.
- Assist with new accessories pricing and business analysis activities.
- Assist with reviewing and growing our licensed accessories partnership business.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (3rd or 4th year) degree in one of the following areas: a Business/IT, Data Analytics or Statistical related degree program, Marketing, Sales
- Eligible to work full-time (40 hours per week) in Canada and for 8 or 12 month term (consecutive semesters) starting January 2026
- Aspiring sales & marketing associate who is interested in learning the automotive business, take a data-driven approach to unlock accessories sales opportunities, and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Possess strong excel/data analysis skills with an eye for detail and good reading/writing skills to enhance sales & marketing materials/activities
- Fundamental digital literacy including advanced knowledge of Microsoft products with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
