The Operations Coordinator is a key support role that ensures our artist teams and leaders can focus on creating world-class content. From managing day-to-day office logistics to overseeing expense and purchasing processes, no two days will look the same. The Operations Coordinator will report to the Director of Production Operations and Technology and collaborate closely with IT, Workplace Experience, and Finance partners. This is a hybrid role with 3+ days a week in office.

Responsibilities

  • Support Operations Development Director with resource tracking and artist bookings
  • Manage team purchasing, ensuring accurate records and compliance with policy
  • Manage expense reporting for Production Leadership team, including reconciliation and submission
  • Support onboarding of new employees, including desk assignments, equipment setup, and orientation materials
  • Partner with Workplace Experience for space planning, cleaning, repairs, and upgrades
  • Partner with IT for equipment setup, tracking, and troubleshooting
  • Manage office supplies, snacks, and shared equipment
  • Prepare rooms, materials, and technology for presentations, meetings, and site visits
  • Support coordination of studio space, reservations, and shipping arrangements
  • Plan office events, team-building activities, and celebrations
  • Summarise meeting minutes when invited to calls
  • Track and improve operational processes to guarantee a smooth studio environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, administration, production, or a creative studio environment (games, animation, VFX, or similar)
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information, budgets, and expense records

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$75,900 - $105,600 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
