Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for operational excellence in healthcare? Alberta Precision Laboratories is seeking a Pre & Post Analytic Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Pre and Post-analytic services at Foothills Medical Center and Arthur Child J E Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre. This pivotal role combines technical expertise, strategic planning, and people leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.

You’ll lead a large team of professionals, drive performance, fostering development, and ensuring alignment with APL’s standards for safety, quality, and productivity. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a strong background in phlebotomy, patient flow, and healthcare operations, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. You’ll work closely with Corporate Services and other stakeholders, leveraging your strong, effective communication skills to drive initiatives forward. Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, in the last 8 years Relevant experience in healthcare operations and team management. Certification or education in leadership, conflict resolution, or change management. Leadership experience in a unionized environment.

Additional Required Qualifications:

As required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) or Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) experience, within the last 5 years. An MLT must maintain current good standing with the regulatory body (CMLTA). Experience in LIS, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams. Advanced certification or post-secondary education in a clinical specialty.
