Overview The Role:

Are you ready to make an impact and drive growth in one of PepsiCo Canada’s most dynamic channels? As a Key Account Manager (KAM) - New Business for the Away From Home (AFH) Foods business, you’ll be at the forefront of our expansion strategy—responsible for winning new customers and unlocking fresh opportunities within your geography.

In this high-impact role, you will lead the charge on new business acquisition, delivering against annual targets and fueling AFH’s growth engine. You’ll shape and execute channel strategies that position PepsiCo as the partner of choice in a competitive marketplace, while collaborating closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and regional teams to bring best-in-class portfolio execution to life.

Functional Description:

PepsiCo Away From Home Foods is a division of PepsiCo that brings the company’s entire portfolio of food brands to market in out-of-home consumption channels to meet consumer needs at work, at play, and on the go.

PepsiCo Away From Home leverages the scale and breadth of the corporation’s brands to provide a unified voice to its customers and deliver competitive advantage in the fast-growing foodservice and vending channels.

Responsibilities

  • Key metric deliverables

  • Deliver specified target net revenue in new business acquisition annually, against wired National Account targets.

  • Create and deliver channel strategy for Region and Sector teams to support delivery of the overall New Business target.

  • Deliver & maintain an accurate period forecast process.

  • Lead strategic planning with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Secure newly acquired accounts with a multi-year strategic partnership

  • Act as a liaison and thought partner to the National Account customer teams

  • Lead National New Business AOP execution with other key stakeholders across AFH National Accounts, and the PepsiCo Foods Canada teams

  • Build and execute strong Customer Marketing Agreement (CMA’s)

  • Develop Quarter Business Reviews - (QBR’s)

  • Lead Sell In Product Cost Increases and New Product Listings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2-6 years of sales leadership experience in a progressive consumer package goods company
  • Foodservice, new business and/or large account management experience required
  • Strong communicator, negotiator, and the ability to think strategically to influence others
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to take initiative and follow-up independently
  • Excellent interpersonal/organizational skills
  • The drive to succeed in a very competitive marketplace, results oriented and the ability to balance sometimes conflicting priorities with a strong customer orientation
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Ability to quickly resolve issues and develop relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, prioritize well
  • Able to analyze and solve problems with varying degrees of complexity
  • Candidate must live near a major airport and be willing to travel >30%
