Help bring critical infrastructure, transportation, land development, and construction projects to life while building a career that grows alongside some of the industry's most respected professionals. As an Intermediate Technician, Construction, you'll play a key role in supporting project delivery through field inspections, testing, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Your Impact
Perform construction inspection and monitoring activities to verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards. Conduct field testing, measurements, and data collection to support quality assurance and quality control programs. Document site observations, prepare detailed field reports, and maintain accurate project records. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, clients, and project teams to support successful project execution. Identify construction issues in the field and communicate findings to project stakeholders in a timely manner. Promote and uphold a strong safety culture by adhering to corporate, client, and regulatory health and safety requirements. Support project delivery by coordinating field activities, scheduling inspections, and contributing to technical problem solving. Contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure and construction projects that positively impact communities and the built environment.
The Skills That Set You Apart
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Experience performing construction inspection, materials testing, or field services on infrastructure, municipal, transportation, land development, or building projects. Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, industry standards, and applicable regulations. Experience preparing technical reports, field documentation, and inspection records. Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control practices in a construction environment. Ability to work independently in the field while effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required. Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and continuous professional development.
