Cathedral School is currently in search of a Teacher on Call (TOC) as our newest team member. The successful candidate will be committed to inspiring students in Grades K - 5, understand the unique developmental and social needs of students in this age group, and enjoy being part of our vibrant and dynamic school community.
Founded in 1989, Christ Church Cathedral School serves a diverse demographic of students in JK to Grade 8. Ranking among the top performing schools in our city, our dedicated team of teachers, educational assistants, and support staff provide a well-rounded curriculum accessible to students of all beliefs, while nurturing the spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual growth of every child. Required:**** Valid BC Teaching Certification Strong****candidates****will:
- be familiar with the BC Ministry of Education curriculum and core competencies.
- use differentiated teaching methods effectively.
- understand the use of technologies in the classroom both for learning and learning support.
- be familiar with a variety of formative and summative assessment tools.
- work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the full school's effectiveness.
- support the Anglican Ethos of our school programming.
