Job Description:
Resort cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all indoor spaces across the resort. The ideal candidate is energetic, tidy, organized, a team player, positive, flexible, self-motivated, and reliable.
Duties:
- Ensure public indoor areas are clean throughout the resort & casino.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of public washrooms.
- Replenish supplies for room attendant carts/closets and process laundry.
- Wash windows (inside).
- Clean floors and shampoo carpets.
- Deliver items to guest rooms when needed.
- Occasionally assist with cleaning rooms.
- Transport shipments from the loading bay.
- Occasionally assist guests with their luggage.
- Assist with room turn down service
Qualifications:
- Have an eye for detail, organized and thorough.
- Always courteous, kind and helpful with our guests and your co-workers.
- Delivers excellent customer service.
- Performs with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow directions thoroughly and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with and maintaining commercial cleaning equipment, an asset.
Conditions of Employment:
Must be able to bend, crouch, lift, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs is required. The nature of a 24/7 industry calls upon Resort Cleaners to cover a range of shifts, including, but not limited to, regular evening and weekend work, as well as holidays. (Friday & Saturday 6am -2pm. to Sunday to Tuesday 3 PM-11 PM). This is a Union position; the expected schedule is 3 evening and 2 day house shifts. Additionally, obtaining a Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) tag is required. Applicants must be at least 19 years old to work in the casino.

Located within the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa Nation, St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino features a full-service Resort with 125 rooms and suites, the Casino of the Rockies, and a Les Furber-designed, championship golf course. The Resort you see today was once the St. Eugene Mission, a residential school for First Nations youth. Following a dark period of our history, we powerfully chose to reclaim the Mission building as a way forward, a place for learning and economic development for our future generations.
