About the role
Position: Active Directory (AD) Consultant
Location: Remote
Job Type: 6-month contract
We are looking for an experienced Active Directory Consultant to support a major enterprise undergoing AD remediation and security enhancement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who has deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience stabilizing and securing large-scale Windows environments. You'll work closely with security and infrastructure teams to strengthen identity management and support key remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead Active Directory remediation and contribute to improving overall security readiness.

Enhance identity management processes and ensure secure system integrations.

Support security-focused initiatives involving endpoint and vulnerability tools.

Troubleshoot complex AD issues, including GPOs, domain trusts, and performance challenges.

Provide clear documentation and communicate technical impacts to diverse stakeholders.

Advise project teams on best practices for secure and compliant AD configurations.
Technical Focus Areas:

Advanced expertise in Active Directory design, architecture, and troubleshooting.

Strong background in AD remediation and security hardening.

Solid working knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and multi-domain trust relationships.

Familiarity with modern endpoint security platforms and their integration with AD.

Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) best practices.

Experience operating in large, enterprise-scale Windows environments.
