Who you are
You are detail-oriented with a deep understanding of software product excellence in the financial services space. You have a strong grasp of both traditional fintech systems and emerging digital asset platforms, and you know how to navigate the unique challenges of each — from regulatory compliance across jurisdictions to the critical need for reliability in systems handling sensitive financial data and transactions.
You have a proven track record of driving quality across complex SaaS platforms, and you’re passionate about building scalable, resilient, and compliant solutions. You understand the importance of quality not just in testing, but throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design to deployment.
You have worked cross-functionally with engineering, product, and compliance teams to ensure that quality is embedded into every layer of the platform. You stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory shifts, and evolving customer expectations, and you know how to translate those into actionable quality strategies.
What you will do
Develop and implement comprehensive quality strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements across traditional financial services and digital asset management.
Work with product and engineering teams across multiple product lines, establishing quality standards, objectives, metrics, and processes that ensure exceptional user experiences while maintaining compliance with financial regulations, investment management standards, and evolving cryptocurrency regulations.
Drive quality culture throughout the organization by collaborating with product management, engineering, and compliance teams to embed quality practices into every stage of the software development lifecycle.
Ensure all software products meet stringent financial industry standards including ISO27001: 2022, relevant banking regulations, OSC investment advisor requirements, and emerging digital asset compliance frameworks.
Implement quality processes that support audit requirements and regulatory examinations across traditional finance and cryptocurrency domains. Develop risk assessment frameworks that evaluate potential impacts of software defects on financial transactions, investment portfolios, staking rewards, customer data, and regulatory compliance.
Maintain deep understanding of evolving fintech and crypto regulations across multiple jurisdictions and adapt quality practices accordingly.
Design and oversee comprehensive testing strategies including functional, performance, security, and compliance testing for complex financial workflows spanning traditional investments, fund operations, and cryptocurrency staking mechanisms.
Lead implementation of automated testing frameworks, leveraging emerging AI technologies, that can handle the scale and complexity of SaaS platforms processing high-volume financial transactions, portfolio rebalancing, fund accounting, and blockchain interactions.
Establish continuous integration and deployment practices that maintain quality while enabling rapid feature delivery in highly competitive and rapidly evolving markets.
Work with product managers and product owners to establish key quality metrics including defect rates, customer satisfaction scores, system availability, transaction accuracy, staking reward precision, and compliance adherence across all product lines.
Implement monitoring and alerting systems that provide real-time visibility into product health, customer experience, fund performance accuracy, and crypto staking operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis, customer feedback, regulatory changes, and industry best practices in both traditional finance and digital assets.
What you will bring
7+ years of quality engineering experience, including 3+ years in financial services, fintech, or digital asset management.
Deep understanding of SaaS architecture, API testing, database quality, blockchain integrations, and cloud platform reliability.
Experience with regulatory requirements in financial services and familiarity with lending processes, wealth management workflows, fund administration, cryptocurrency staking mechanisms, and financial data handling requirements across traditional and digital asset domains.
Proven track record leading quality teams in fast-paced, regulated environments spanning traditional finance and emerging digital asset technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience using quality metrics to drive business decisions across diverse financial products.
Experience working in agile development environments with ability to balance speed and quality in product delivery while managing the unique challenges of both traditional financial services and rapidly evolving cryptocurrency markets.
Advanced certifications in quality engineering, software testing, financial services compliance, or blockchain technology.
Experience with specific fintech domains such as digital lending platforms, advisor platforms, portfolio management systems, mutual fund administration, ETF operations, cryptocurrency exchanges, DeFi protocols, or institutional staking services.
Knowledge of emerging technologies in financial services including AI/ML applications, blockchain consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and digital asset custody solutions.
