Director, Advisor System of Work
Top Benefits
About the role
Own the workflows and integration that let Bank growth plays run inside advisor practice - cleanly, credibly, and with measurable outcomes. You’ll design how Bank capabilities plug into advisor systems of work and distribution systems, so advisors get less friction and leaders get attribution they can trust.
Position Responsibilities:
-
Integration for each play: the Bank/Distribution handshake across workflow states, required fields, routing/ownership, SLAs, event definitions, and error handling.
-
A reusable Connector Catalogue with clear inputs/outputs, SLAs, and measurement points.
-
Play Integration Kits that Distribution, Delivery, Tech and Engineering can run with advisor-POV user story, swim lane, states & routing, event map, dashboards, runbook, and test scenarios.
-
Interlock governance: intake, dependency & change-window alignment with Distribution; decisions/waivers log; deprecation schedule for bespoke paths.
-
Map the advisor practice by segment/channel and locate minimal-change insertion points for Bank plays (practice-first, platform-agnostic).
-
Design the workflow: define states, entry/exit criteria, routing/ownership and timeouts; specify how Bank triggers, documents, decisions and funding show up in advisor workflows.
-
Make launches measurable: specify event vocabulary and dashboards; validate on-time/in-full delivery.
-
Run the interlock: alignment with Distribution & Delivery; surface collisions, decide waivers, and keep change windows realistic.
Outcomes you own
-
Speed to live: decisioned plays reach advisor-runnable workflows in weeks.
-
Attribution integrity: 100% of launches meet measurement spec at go-live.
-
Advisor friction down: fewer steps, faster time-to-first-touch, lower re-work/handbacks.
-
Reliability & recovery: event on-time/in-full rates, SLA adherence
How you lead
-
You simplify complexity, make good trade-offs visible, and keep decisions documented.
-
You lead through influence, aligning multiple roadmaps without owning them, and protect advisor time.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years designing cross-org workflows or integrations in financial services (e.g., Banks, Brokerages, MGAs/Firms, Insurance)
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Proven delivery of SLAs that improved conversion or cycle time and stood up to audit.
-
Fluency with CRM/Advisor platforms (objects, queues, routing, instrumentation) and measurement (IDs, joints, dashboards).
-
Clear, plain-language spec writing; strong facilitation with Distribution, Engineering, Finance, and Risk/Privacy.
When you join our team:
- We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
- We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.
- As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.
