The Opportunity
We are seeking a Fixed-Term Account Manager in Calgary, Alberta to cover a period of Maternity Leave from February 2026 through to March 2027. Oyster Bay is one of the world’s most successful Super Premium wine brands, and this is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a global wine industry success story. Reporting to the Provincial Sales Manager, you will join a high-performing team based in key areas of Alberta, focused on aiming high, gaining mastery, and winning together.
You will be responsible for driving business growth in the North West, North East, and City Centre areas of Calgary, including regional coverage of Banff and other rural areas in southern Alberta. This will be achieved through high-quality distribution of our Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate brands. The role spans multi-channel sales, including retail and on-premise accounts, and will involve some travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth across assigned territories through effective distribution and account management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and on-premise accounts.
- Identify market opportunities and stay informed on industry trends.
- Apply sound reasoning and negotiation skills to influence outcomes.
- Manage territory travel and maintain accurate reporting.
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales environment, ideally within alcohol, beverage, hospitality, packaged goods, or consumer goods.
- Proven ability to build strong, enduring relationships with accounts.
- Skilled in negotiation and influencing outcomes.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and driven to achieve.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Flexibility to travel within assigned territory.
- A tertiary qualification and/or WSET Level 2 is desirable.
