About the role

OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Retail Inventory Manager, the Retail Inventory Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of inventory control activities. This role ensures accurate recording of inventory counts and transactions, supports in the store audit function, and performs regular reviews of inventory results, supporting the overall management of store inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes physical inventory counts, ensuring accuracy and reliability of store-level data.
  • Enter, review, and follow up on inventory transactions in the Company ERP system, including inventory counts, adjustments, transfers, and receiving.
  • Provide first-level analysis of inventory count results, highlighting discrepancies for further review.
  • Review submissions of bad merchandise by Operators, ensuring proper coding and chargeback procedures are applied.
  • Prepare documentation for chargebacks to Operators and vendors, liaising with relevant departments as required.
  • Provide administrative support during store closures and changeovers, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of inventory transfers.
  • Maintain organized records of audit findings, adjustments, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stores and departments to ensure timely communication and resolution of day-to-day inventory issues.
  • Compiling reports and analysis on inventory related trends and data.
  • Other duties as reasonably required.

EDUCATION & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, auditing, or related roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with inventory or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to assist with inventory counts (personal vehicle required).
  • Experience in retail operations or inventory control is an asset.
