In this role you will collaborate with portfolio managers to design and execute derivatives overlay strategies for hedging, yield enhancement, and risk management. oversee trade execution to ensure best execution, cost efficiency, and minimal market impact, utilizing both electronic and voice trading platforms. Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, and product innovations to provide timely insights to investment teams regarding derivatives markets. Engage with internal stakeholders (portfolio managers, compliance, risk, legal, and operations) to ensure seamless integration of derivatives strategies). Ensure all derivatives trading activity is compliant with relevant regulations and internal policies, upholding high standards of governance and transparency. Drive adoption of advanced trading technologies, analytics, and process improvements to optimize derivatives trading operations.

How you’ll succeed
- Strategic Oversight & Portfolio Integration: Lead the development and implementation of derivatives trading strategies to support portfolio managers and investment teams across asset classes (equities, fixed income and commodities). Collaborate with portfolio managers to design and execute derivatives overlay strategies for hedging, yield enhancement, and risk management.
- Execution Excellence: Oversee trade execution to ensure best execution, cost efficiency, and minimal market impact, leveraging both electronic and voice trading platforms.
- Risk Management: Ensure robust risk management practices are in place, adhering to internal risk frameworks and regulatory guidelines.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market developments and structure, regulatory changes, and new product innovations. Provide insights to investment teams regarding derivatives markets.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders, including portfolio managers, compliance, risk, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of derivatives strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all derivatives trading activity complies with applicable regulations and internal policies, maintaining high standards of governance and transparency.
