City of Castlegar Manager of Finance - Term
BASIS: FULL-TIME, TERM UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2026
CLOSING: SEPTEMBER 5, 2025 AT 9:00 AM
The Manager of Finance manages, directs and supervises the operations and performance of the Finance Department, which includes accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, utility billing, property taxes, budgeting and financial statement preparation and cemetery administration.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Technology, the Manager of Finance is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and directing the day-to day operations and activities of the Finance department.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be registered as a Chartered Professional Accountant in British Columbia with an undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have 5-years progressive management training in a municipal setting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
