About the role
The**Grande Peace Athletic Club (GPAC)**is based out of Grande Prairie, Alberta and services the northwest region. We are now looking for head and assistant coaches for the 2026-2027 season. We are looking for individuals who believe in developing male athletes, building a cohesive culture and who want to join our program for the right reasons.
We are currently accepting applications for experienced coaches for the following positions:
Head Coaches – U13 AA, U13 AAA, U15 AA (2), U16 AA, U17 AAA, U18 AA, U18 AAA
Assistant Coaches – U13 AA, U13 AAA, U15 AA, U15 AAA, U16 AA, U17 AAA, U18 AA, U18 AAA

Hockey Alberta is the third largest provincial branch of Hockey Canada, and is the acting governing body for amateur hockey in the province of Alberta ranging from the levels of minor hockey to senior hockey including the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Hockey Alberta has approximately 450 member organizations representing more than 90,000 participants. All players are coached, officiated and developed through certification courses, programs, education and training provided through Hockey Alberta..
Hockey Alberta is a volunteer driven organization with more than 500 volunteers involved in different roles from the Board of Directors to committees, councils and program areas.
Hockey Alberta's main office is located in Red Deer, at Red Deer College. In addition, Hockey Alberta operates five Regional Centre offices, with locations in Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge and Lloydminster.
