Role Overview
The Quality Control & Service Supervisor supports project execution and long-term client satisfaction by leading quality assurance, quality control inspections, and service operations across roofing and building envelope projects. This role ensures all work performed by internal crews and subcontractors meets company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
The role works closely with Project Managers, Operations, Service teams, and field crews to ensure projects are delivered with consistent quality, deficiencies are addressed proactively, and service requests are handled efficiently. The position plays a key role in bridging construction execution with post-completion service and warranty performance.
Success in this role means projects are delivered with minimal deficiencies, service and warranty issues are resolved quickly and effectively, and field teams operate with clear quality expectations and accountability. Over time, quality performance improves through consistent inspection processes, strong field leadership, and continuous feedback into operations.

What You Bring to the Table
Technical Skills
-
5+ years of experience in roofing, building envelope, or construction operations
-
2+ years of experience in a supervisory, QA/QC, or service-related role
-
Strong knowledge of roofing systems including flat roofing, shingles, metal systems, and flashing assemblies
-
Experience performing site inspections, deficiency identification, and quality control reporting
-
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
-
Experience investigating leaks, system failures, and building envelope issues
-
Familiarity with Ontario construction practices, safety standards, and building code requirements

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, inspections, and service requests

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead QA/QC inspections across active and completed roofing and building envelope projects to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
-
Review project drawings, scope, and schedules with Project Managers prior to project start to align on execution and quality expectations

Perform scheduled and on-demand site inspections, identifying deficiencies and coordinating corrective actions with crews and subcontractors
-
Oversee service calls, warranty work, and deficiency repairs, ensuring timely response and resolution
-
Investigate leaks, system failures, and performance issues, providing clear diagnostics and recommended solutions

Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment required for service and corrective work
-
Track and manage deficiencies from identification through to closure, ensuring proper documentation and accountability
-
Prepare detailed inspection reports, service records, and quality documentation for internal and external stakeholders
-
Act as a key liaison between field crews, subcontractors, project managers, and clients to ensure alignment and communication
-
Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with site-specific safety requirements, including inspections and reporting
-
Perform final inspections and support project close-out to ensure all work meets quality standards and warranty requirements
