About the facility: LLRIBHS promotes health in our communities for the wellbeing of all members. We provide accessible, high quality health services and programs. Together with others, we work to build capacity and educate as we address both acute needs and determinants of health. The Administration Program is located in La Ronge, Morin’s Hill.

About the position: The Administration Manager provides overall supervision and direction to the Administration Team and works under the Director of Health. S/he handles the day-to-day management of administration programs and services. This position focuses on directing and supporting the planning, proposal writing and implementation of the administration program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee special projects assigned such as accreditation and 1st Responder Program;

  • Ensure effective improvements and increased efficiency of programs and services;

  • Provides advice and guidance in matters requiring interpretation of policies using problem solving approach;

  • Provide reports, statistics and evaluations of program activities;

  • Participate in the development of community health plans, strategic plan, annual budgets, workplans and reporting requirements;

  • Building a productive, cooperative work climate within the team, the organization and with other community agencies;

  • Providing direct reports to the Director of Health and Board of Directors on a quarterly basis or as needed.

Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or related field (combination of education and relevant experience may be considered); Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory and/or managerial role; Experience working with budget maintenance and reporting; Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task; Willing to work flexible hours, including evening & weekends; Experience working with First Nations communities and knowledge of the Woodland Cree culture & traditions; Ability to understand/speak the Cree language is an asset but not required; Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
