About the role
Sales Strategy Manager Objective and Purpose The Sales Strategy Manager will report to the Director of National Accounts & Sales Strategy and will own pricing strategy, stage gate and customer channel strategy . The Sales Strategy Manager will build and maintain customer pricing models with a focus on brand and SKU value equation, data ingestion/integration, reporting and dashboards for all key accounts via Turff with supporting data from HiFyre & Cabanalytics on pricing, channel and market analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Data consolidation to lead and manage 3^rd party data vendor budget (Turff).
- Lead monthly key account scorecard and dashboard review with SVP of Sales and key account customer leads.
- Work in partnership with key accounts and trade marketing to enable measurement of shopper marketing initiatives; quarterly ROI reporting with learnings applied to historical databases.
- Work in partnership with key account and brand management to build customer and brand specific dashboard that facilitates accurate KPI measurables.

- Category oversight with a lens on provincial and Key account assortment planning and category optimization.
- Quarterly channel review and update to strategy by market.
 
- Support profitable sales mix of 1.0 and 2.0 products across all brands through informed category management.
- Lead product margin optimization through THC/price and competitive analysis to ensure Organigram is taking price when earned.
- Market analysis to recommend new launch pricing.
 
- Execute monthly price and THC audit across all provinces where Organigram competes, measure Organigram brands against peer group.
- Market share reporting by LP with competitive overview.
- Competitive set by category, actionable insights included.
 
Education, Training, and Experience
- 5+ years of sales management experience in cannabis or similar industry.
- Post-secondary business degree/diploma.
- Role is based out of Toronto.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across sales and marketing verticals, with an ability to lead through influence.
- Owner’s mindset and a hunger to drive results.
- Excellent communicator (both oral and written).
- Comfortable creating and leading data driven presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with strong critical thinking skills and ability to craft compelling business cases.
