About This Role
We are recruiting for a Service Dispatcher to join our Service Division at our Burnaby office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.
We are seeking an organized and resourceful Service Dispatcher to lead our field service team. You will be the central hub connecting our clients with our field electricians, ensuring our daily operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule
Your Responsibilities
Receive/Respond to customer service inquiries via phone and email, coordinating requests for service and support Conduct initial assessments of service requests, gather relevant information, and collaborate with internal teams to identify appropriate solutions Prioritize incoming service requests and effectively schedule and dispatch service technicians Create and manage work orders, and support the invoicing process to ensure accurate and timely billing Monitor service reports and customer documentation to ensure timely completion and compliance with company standards Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive communication, ongoing support, and follow-up Coordinate with customers and site contacts to facilitate scheduling, service execution, and work order completion Ensure adherence to established processes, procedures, and service standards Maintain accurate filing systems, document control, and assist with office and operational supply orders
Your Experience And Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years' experience in a similar role coordinating technician schedules and dispatching service calls Experience with tracking, billing, and reporting Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) Prior experience using service management software or similar software is an asset Understanding of service operations and life cycle is an asset Extremely organized work habits, patient, and customer service focused Superior written and verbal English communication skills Natural, confident ability and positive attitude Flexible with the proven ability to multitask in a changing, fast-paced environment Basic electrical or construction knowledge is an asset

Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
