POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a reliable and respectful Security Guard to join our team at KOG Security, specifically for cemetery locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and peaceful environment for visitors and staff while ensuring the security of the premises.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patrol the cemetery grounds regularly to maintain security and deter any unauthorized activities
- Secure all entry and exit points, monitoring access to the cemetery
- Assist visitors with directions, information, and any other needs they may have
- Lock up designated areas of the location according to post orders
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, contacting relevant authorities when necessary
- Create detailed incident reports and escalate issues to upper management as required
- Follow all directives and instructions provided by KOG Security management
- Maintain a respectful and solemn demeanor appropriate for the cemetery environment
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- One year Security Experience is a must.
- Excellent Customer Service, English language & communication abilities
- Must be comfortable walking, standing, patrolling
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License is required
- Eligibility to work full-time, legally in Canada without restrictions (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Work Permit only)
