Levitt-Safety is looking for a Service Technician to join our Montreal team!
We offer flexible scheduling options, including a Monday–Friday work week or a compressed schedule of 7 days on/7 days off or 14 days on/14 days off.
Main Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems (vehicle, industrial, and commercial)
- Perform testing, verification, and certification to ensure systems meet all codes, standards, and customer requirements
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system issues with suppression equipment
- Accurately document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Provide on-site support and customer service, answering client questions and explaining system operation and safety requirements
- Ensure all work is performed safely, adhering to company safety protocols and industry regulations
- Travel to customer sites, including out-of-town assignments and overnight stays when required
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support project and service needs
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual in English and French (required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for health and safety, and excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to work out of town for extended periods (up to 12-hour shifts, including overnight stays)
- Hands-on experience in a mechanical shop or with vehicles/motorized equipment (asset)
- Prior customer service experience to work effectively with internal and external clients
- Comfort with technology, computers, and mobile devices
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test

Proficiency in both French and English is required for this position to effectively meet the needs of our Francophone and Anglophone customers, with a priority on serving our French-speaking clientele in compliance with Quebec’s Charter of the French Language. This bilingual requirement also ensures our team can access and understand technical information in English provided by our national and international manufacturers and suppliers. These skills enable us to deliver precise, high-quality service to all partners and uphold our commitment to excellence.
