At Citi, we're seeking a Senior Auditor who isn't just looking to perform tasks, but to genuinely understand, analyze, and shape the future of our risk and control environment.

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to dive deep into Citi’s intricate operations. We empower our auditors to think critically, challenge assumptions, and champion innovation, bringing fresh perspectives that truly add value and help Citi achieve its ambitious business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform moderately complex audits, going beyond surface-level reviews to deeply investigate processes, and controls. We encourage you to ask probing questions and seek comprehensive understanding.
  • Draft audit reports including presenting issues to the business and discussing practical solutions.
  • Take initiative to complete assigned audits efficiently and within budgeted timeframes, always seeking ways to enhance audit quality and impact.
  • Conduct in-depth stakeholder walkthroughs, documenting risks, processes, controls, and identifying critical control gaps.
  • Execute DEA and OET testing with precision in alignment with audit methodology.
  • Ensure all deliverables are impeccably clear, comprehensive, accurate, and directly support strategic audit objectives, providing actionable insights.
  • Engage in Business Monitoring and Risk Assessment activities, driving thorough documentation and analysis to anticipate and mitigate potential risks
  • Craft appropriate and pragmatic solutions to complex risk and control issues, influencing positive change across the organization.
  • Develop a good understanding of and apply internal audit standards, policies, and local regulations to provide timely, strategic audit assurance that truly makes a difference. Also, master and leverage our audit systems.
  • Proactively identify, propose, and adopt cutting-edge analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and automation solutions to revolutionize our audit practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
  • Subject matter expertise regarding audit technology’s application
  • Effective project management skills
  • Effective influencing and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
