(Internal Title: Project Management IV)
- Utilize previous experience in leading projects across development and construction to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality requirements.
- Guide and co-ordinate with all relevant parties to understand and deliver project objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing day to day management and leadership of the project and the project team.
- Acting as a safety leader across a program of delivery works.
- Delivers the project objectives in line with the Project Plan, leads and supervises the project teams and relevant stakeholders to achieve the required project outcomes.
- Proactively engaging with the various Project Delivery Teams (PDT’s).
- Monitors project timeframes and budgets, ensuring managing diligently and to the successful delivery of project management, highlighting any risks, challenges and mitigations.
- Experienced understanding of resource, interface, and constraints management.
- Managing activities with significant uncertainty of solution or outcome.
- Recommending changes to project delivery plans, identify areas of improvement to put forward to relevant area in business and operating processes.
- Identifying any opportunities to help develop the PDT’s delivery experience, through coaching and mentoring of the on-site teams.
- Interact with clients, Alliance partners and other stakeholders to ensure that objectives are being met.
- Build and maintains networks with peer project teams and other disciplines.
- Ensures all approved handover documentation is coordinated and provided prior to Completion.
- Facilitate high-impact workshops with contractors, designers, and alliance partners.
- Lead the development of access strategies, possession planning, and systems integration.
- Support leadership and direction within the Alliance development and delivery team, delivers timely feedback to ensure a cohesive operational unit and the optimum use of team skills.
- Lead by example with the purpose to inspire the team within the team.
- Monitor work assignments for adherence to timelines and compliance with policies and processes
- Help develop action plans to address performance gaps.

Onsite at delivery center: You will be onsite at our delivery center for the majority of your work hours.

Minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Management
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline (e.g., Civil & Infrastructure Engineering)

Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
-
Experienced Project Manager in the rail sector i.e., Stations, Track, Bridges, Overhead Catenary Systems, Signaling and Communications.

Proven experience in project management, managing small to medium to large sized projects.

Commercial and strong understanding of multiple contract types.

Proven understanding of project management methodologies and practice.
-
Experience in rail infrastructure delivery, including stations, track, bridges, tunnels, and multi-disciplinary environments.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Has a strong understanding of rail engineering standards, possession planning, and systems integration
- Experience leading engineering design development (feasibility to IFC)
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and industry-standard engineering tools
- Strong understanding of prevailing Project Management methods
- Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Project Management software
- Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
