Position Description
This role is responsible for training new hires and providing ongoing training for internal team members as new product lines and systems are introduced. It includes hands-on tool instruction, technical knowledge, and system training in Oracle and Korber. The team member will lead training and promote the benefits of these technologies to business teams. Success in this role requires strong technical skills, process improvement abilities, and a positive, adaptable attitude. The position also supports safety and continuous improvement initiatives, such as 6S.
What You Will Do
- Serve as a trusted team member with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude, supporting business units through complex or sensitive issues with best practices and long-term follow-through.
- Engage with business units to identify needs, explore options, and develop effective solutions that align with desired outcomes.
- Lead and facilitate training programs for new hires and existing staff, including hands-on tool repair, technical skills, and system training in Oracle and Korber.
- Develop and maintain training materials, staff records, and documentation required for compliance and grant tracking.
- Collaborate with senior training specialists to ensure training content remains current and effective.
- Facilitate team meetings, training sessions, and group presentations, encouraging active participation and managing group dynamics professionally.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S, safety, and corrective actions, to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule and shift coverage, including travel during onboarding
- React effectively to change, manage time and tasks independently, and maintain focus during uncertainty.
- Build professional capability through ongoing learning and application of new knowledge.
- Maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Possess and apply technical knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to train others across varying skill levels.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
What You Will Bring
- Previous experience in performance management, supervision, or technical training is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of using business analytics and work planning tools.
- Strong typing and ten-key skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently.
- Knowledge of Korber, WMS, and Oracle (formerly Microsoft Dynamics AX) preferred.
- Ability to train others, present effectively to groups, and manage group dynamics.
- Flexible work schedule and willingness to travel during onboarding.
