About the role
Ink is a next-generation Ethereum Layer-2 network incubated by Kraken , built using Optimism’s OP Stack and designed to make decentralized finance faster, cheaper, and more accessible. As part of the Optimism Superchain, Ink combines Ethereum-level security with high-performance execution, enabling developers and users to interact with DeFi at scale.
We’re building a chain and ecosystem that bridges the reliability and reach of a global exchange with the openness of on-chain infrastructure. Our focus is on empowering developers, improving user experience, and accelerating real-world adoption of decentralized applications. Joining Ink means working at the intersection of Ethereum scaling, DeFi innovation, and production-grade blockchain infrastructure , alongside a team committed to shipping impactful, secure, and user-centric technology.
Proof of work The team Ink Foundation supports the Ink ecosystem and the builders shipping on Ink blockchain. The Foundation exists to help developers go from idea to mainnet with the narrative, distribution, and relationships that turn builds into adoption.
This team sits at the intersection of ecosystem growth, technical storytelling, and builder support. It partners closely with engineering and product contributors to ensure developers have both the infrastructure and the visibility needed to succeed. The Foundation works directly with ecosystem teams to amplify launches, strengthen positioning, and coordinate growth moments that compound over time.

- Own and grow relationships with builders, founders, and developer communities building on Ink
- Lead coordinated co-marketing efforts for ecosystem launches, announcements, and growth moments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound developer inquiries and partnership requests
- Shape and manage Ink’s builder narrative across social, community, and ecosystem channels
- Translate technical roadmap progress into compelling stories that attract high-quality builders
- Build and maintain an always-on pipeline of builder spotlights, launch threads, and founder interviews
- Support and activate developer-focused events including hackathons, workshops, and conferences
- Partner across the Foundation and ecosystem to ensure builders have a smooth path from build to users
Skills You Should HODL
- 3–7 years of experience in Developer Relations and/or Developer Marketing
- Proven experience managing developer relationships and shipping co-marketing initiatives with technical teams
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, particularly for launch narratives, social distribution, and technical ecosystems
- Ability to translate complex technical work into clear, compelling messaging for builders
- Experience supporting or activating developer-focused events
- Organizational strength and ability to manage multiple builder relationships simultaneously
- Comfort representing an ecosystem publicly across social platforms and in live environments
- Technical fluency sufficient to engage credibly with engineers and founders
Nice to haves
- Prior DevRel or developer marketing experience within a blockchain ecosystem, protocol, or developer platform
- Demonstrated participation in web3 ecosystems through shipped projects, community contributions, or technical content
- Experience running builder programs such as grants, hackathons, accelerators, or ambassador initiatives
- Experience growing a technical community through content, education, or partnerships
- Experience working with open-source communities
