About the role

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, tech-savvy professional with expertise in web design, video, and social media content creation. The Web Services and Graphics Coordinator is responsible for publishing content to the BCSC websites and supporting internal graphics and design requests. This position works with the Digital Communications Specialist and the Digital Communications Coordinator to publish online content, develop design solutions and graphics, and monitor website and intranet issues.

Key responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include:

Web Services:

  • Support the development and enhancement of BCSC InvestRight’s overall online presence
  • Identify, document, and resolve issues that arise with content on InvestRight.org
  • Publish web content and participate in BCSC web development and design projects
  • Stay abreast Google Analytics tracking capabilities, and generate reports

Digital Communications Support:

  • Manipulate content within existing templates and assist with implementation of new web-based applications, forms or templates
  • Edit and optimize photo and video content for web and social media, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and audience engagement strategies.
  • Provide graphic design support for presentations, print, web and video media
  • Support digital video production and agency initiatives

Qualifications

Your qualifications include:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in web design or development and one to three years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, WordPress and/or other CMS products
  • Demonstrated photographic, graphic and multimedia design experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid understanding of web accessibility standards and regulations with the ability to design, develop, and test content
  • HTML, SQL, CSS, and JavaScript proficiency an asset
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $57,150 (minimum) - $71,439 (midpoint) - $85,727 (maximum).

The starting salary for this position will be determined considering the successful candidate’s relevant experience and education, salaries of other employees in the same salary range, market conditions and other relevant factors. Starting salaries are normally below the salary band midpoint.
