Diverse and open with spectacular views, Kamloops sits in the heart of Southern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Secwépemc people. The city’s stunning natural landscape—river valleys, semi‑arid grasslands, pine and fir forests, lakes, and mountain peaks—creates an ideal backdrop for four seasons of outdoor adventure. Friendly and welcoming, Kamloops offers a safe and supportive environment, affordability, a vibrant cultural scene, and convenient access to Vancouver by a 3.5‑hour drive or 45‑minute flight.

TRU gives students the advantage of small class sizes, abundant opportunities for undergraduate research, and a centrally located campus. More than 26,000 students study at TRU either on campus or online, contributing to a dynamic and engaged learning community.

TRU and the School of Nursing value equity, diversity, and inclusivity and are committed to advancing the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action.
