Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Associate Advising Representative (Associate Portfolio Manager) to join our Core PM Services team. This role is ideal for someone looking to be involved in the portfolio management process for our clients and grow into an unrestricted Advising Representative role with the team.
Key Responsibilities
Use our digital platform to interact with clients, advisors, planners, and internal teams such as compliance, trading and investment management. Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to assess client goals and assign suitable portfolio allocations. Support trade approvals for pre-approved advice. Maintain up-to-date client profiles (KYC Information) using and updating our CRM-based system. Analyze and respond to client inquiries regarding investment products and strategies. Facilitate integration of financial planning and investment strategies with advisors and clients. Discuss market conditions, economic trends, and portfolio performance as needed. Provide feedback to enhance our client-facing portfolio management program. Progress toward meeting OSC registration requirements as an unrestricted Advising Representative. Additional duties as required.
What We’re Looking For
Eligibility to be registered as an Associate Advising Representative when joining the firm.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines
Some experience with using AI tools to enhance efficiency Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with investment products and the financial services industry. Experience with CRM systems, portfolio management databases including trading and digital client interaction tools. A proactive, client-first mindset with a passion for investment strategy and portfolio outcomes.
