Our scope ranges from recommending how to use content more effectively to optimizing daily media channel performance and maximizing visibility in eCommerce platforms. The Paid Social Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, setup, optimization, and performance of paid social campaigns across dentsu’s clients. This role acts as a day‑to‑day client partner and internal leader, ensuring paid social work drives business outcomes, aligns with dentsu’s integrated performance approach, and contributes to connected media solutions across the network. Strategic Leadership Collaborate with Client Leads, Strategy, and cross‑channel teams to define paid social strategies aligned with the broader media and business objectives. Translate dentsu’s audience‑first, data‑driven approach into actionable paid social tactics and recommendations. Stay current on platform innovations, dentsu tools/tech, and industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for clients. Campaign Planning & Execution Lead end‑to‑end setup of paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter/X, and emerging platforms. Conduct audience and competitive research using dentsu tools (where applicable) to inform targeting strategies. Build and QA campaign structures, tracking, creative rotations, and platform settings to ensure operational excellence. Ensure accurate trafficking and adherence to dentsu and client best practices. Optimization & Performance Management Monitor campaign performance daily and optimize for efficiency, performance KPIs, and full‑funnel business outcomes. Use dentsu measurement frameworks (e.g., test & learn agendas, brand lift, incrementality testing) to improve campaign contribution. Partner with Analytics and cross‑channel teams to understand impact holistically across platforms. Reporting & Insights Deliver clear, consistent reporting with strong narrative storytelling — insights, implications, and recommended actions. Ensure all reporting meets dentsu’s quality standards, leveraging dashboarding tools where applicable. Present performance updates to clients and internal leadership with confidence and clarity. Client Partnership Act as a strategic and solutions‑focused day‑to‑day contact for clients. Understand client business priorities and connect paid social performance to their KPIs and organizational goals. Provide guidance to clients on creative best practices, measurement approaches, and new opportunities. Team Leadership & Collaboration Coach, mentor, and develop Analysts and Coordinators on campaign execution, optimization, and reporting. Work collaboratively within dentsu’s integrated model — Media, Strategy, Analytics, Creative, and CXM teams. Contribute positively to team culture by sharing knowledge, best practices, and learning across the paid social community. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Media, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. 3+ years of hands‑on paid social experience, ideally within a digital performance agency or in‑house performance team. Proven experience managing campaigns across major social platforms. Expertise with: Meta Ads Manager,TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads, Twitter/X Understanding of third-party tracking, pixels, tags, and measurement. Knowledge of Google Analytics or similar tools (an asset). Strong proficiency in Excel and/or data visualization platforms. Core Competencies Analytical and performance‑driven with strong numeracy. Detail‑oriented with exceptional QA standards. Strong communicator — able to simplify complexity for clients and internal partners. Calm, solutions‑oriented, and effective in fast‑paced environments. Demonstrates integrity, collaboration, and a growth mindset aligned with dentsu values. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
