We are seeking a PART TIME Maintenance Person to be a part of our Maintenance Team. The successful candidate would need to be available to work a variety of shifts - weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays - as well as occasional overtime as business levels dictate.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Scope:
Responsible for performing general maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel’s quality standards and ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in completing the preventative maintenance checklist and address minor repair work orders, including replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and patching vinyl, to maintain hotel quality standards.
- Inspect and perform minor repairs on electrical systems, including air conditioning controls, television sets, and lighting systems.
- Assist in checking and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipelines, toilets, sinks, kitchen equipment, laundry machines, and leisure club facilities.
- Maintain the hotel’s exterior, including parking lots, lawns, and landscaping, according to seasonal requirements.
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, including cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, and counters. Perform painting and finishing work when needed.
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests in a courteous manner and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, in accordance with company standards.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be honest, reliable and dependable
- A minimum of two years experience to include working in building operations.
- General knowledge of machines and maintenance and repair using basic hand and power tools.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Positive, enthusiastic, outgoing personality a definite must;
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills required
- Must be a responsible, organized individual who can work with minimum supervision
- Must practice good hygiene and maintain a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Must be in good health and accustomed to walking and standing for long periods
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be a team orientated individual with good interactive skills
