About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Dock Worker to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient movement of freight within our terminal, supporting on-time deliveries and overall operational success.
**Location:**St. John's, NL
**Schedule:**Sunday to Thursday, 8pm to 6am
Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload freight from trailers in a safe and efficient manner

Sort, stage and organize shipments within the dock area
-
Use of scanners and paperwork
-
Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
-
Verify shipment accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies
-
Maintain clean and organized work environment
-
Attend in-house training sessions as required (e.g. dangerous goods, WHMIS, etc.)
-
Follow all company safety procedures and policies
-
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines
What you bring:

Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
-
A willingness to work, dependability & a good attitude are key

Reliable transportation to and from work
-
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
-
Willingness to work in warehouse conditions with possible high noise levels and varying temperatures (dependent on weather)
-
Safety boots/shoes
-
A clean criminal background
