About the role
Your day to day:
- Support the Supply Chain Finance Director in the analysis of strategic change initiatives within the manufacturing and supply chain optimization agenda
- Design and refine effective forecasting models to anticipate costs and financial outcomes, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic planning
- Implement changes to current processes to enhance the reliability of standard costs, including full cost-to-serve and ABC costing calculations
- Work closely with Finance FP&A sales and marketing to develop customer and product-specific business cases
- Lead the process for maintenance of standard costs across the organization, fostering consistency and accuracy to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency
- Lead efforts to manage and enhance the innovation costing process, ensuring accurate assessment to optimize resource allocation for innovative initiatives
- Implement robust controls within supply chain to identify and eliminate unnecessary costs, driving significant reductions and enhancing overall cost efficiency for the organization
Qualifications
- CPA Designation
- 5 + years of progressive finance/accounting experience, and working knowledge in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
- Advanced skill level working with Microsoft Excel and demonstrated ability working with PowerPoint, Outlook, Word
- Experience in Power BI.
- Experience in full cycle accounting and knowledge of financial statements
Notes:
- The position is based at our head office in Richmond, BC, with occasional travel to our manufacturing plants within North America
- We're in the office Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and WFH Wednesday/Friday
- Based on experience, we will pay a base salary range between $85,000 - $110,000
- 10% annual bonus based on individual and company performance
