Position Summary The Application Support Associate is a fantastic introductory position for someone recently graduated or in the early stages of their career. Not only is this a unique opportunity to learn about HomeEquity Bank’s core business systems and how they support our business users, but you will be able to flex and develop core skills in the areas of system and business analysis. In this role, you will build partnerships across all departments at HomeEquity Bank by acting as a subject matter expert in the use of the bank's core business systems for lead management, mortgage origination and mortgage servicing.
MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE Responsibilities
- Assist with monitoring the lead management and mortgage processing systems’ support queues and responding to user inquiries and issues.
- Log issues that require system changes for triage in the Issue Backlog.
- Assist with triaging, managing and replicating reported issues in the Issues Backlog.
- Contribute to the knowledge base in the Business Application Support Resource Centre with updated system documentation on recent changes.
- Contribute to the development of the Business Application Support Resource Centre by updating how to's, FAQs and other support resources.
- Assist in developing, documenting and maintaining support processes, procedures, and standards for the Business Application Support team.
Experience
- Post-secondary education or experience in a technology or business support field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
- Demonstrated analytical, decision-making and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities, responding to internal customer needs.
