Assignment:

• Part-time 0.40 FTE Educational Assistant position in the Bright Futures Play Academy Program

• Duties to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year

• 8:10-11:30 A.M., Monday through Thursday

• Duties will include providing individual assistance to preschool students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with complex needs

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality

• Calm and patient approach to solving problems

• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment

• Ability to work one on one or with a student in an inclusive environment

• Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs

• Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal hygiene

• Toileting and lifting will be required
