Position: Full Time Campus Supervisor
Site: Seneca Polytechnic (King & York)
Averaging Agreement: Employment Standards Act
Hours: Monday to Friday (0900 - 1700) *flexibility required for operational needs*
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $26.00 / an hour

Job Description
This role provides operational leadership in support of frontline security teams, ensuring contractual, operational, and institutional standards are consistently met. It offers the opportunity to work within a leading Ontario post-secondary security environment while gaining hands-on experience in campus operations, emergency management, and stakeholder engagement
- Supervise our Security Staff assigned to King and Seneca@York
- Ensure daily operational coverage and assign work, patrols, breaks, and responsibilities
- Conduct daily shift briefings and communicate operational updates
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, mentorship, and guidance
- Ensure all staff are properly licensed, uniformed, and equipped
- Review incident reports, memo books, patrol documentation, and daily operational reports for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure Guard Tour Patrols and required patrol documentation are completed and submitted appropriately
- Respond to incidents and provide leadership during emergencies and significant occurrences
- Liaise with Seneca stakeholders, emergency responders, contractors, etc., as required
- Support onboarding and training coordination of new security personnel alongside the Field Training Officer (FTO)
- Ensure all weekly and monthly audits are completed in accordance with requirements
- Send operational notifications and incident communications as required
- Report operational, staffing, health and safety, and performance concerns to the Security Program Manager and Seneca Security Administrators
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and investigations
- Support customer service initiatives and maintain positive working relationships
- Ensure compliance with Seneca policies, procedures, post orders, and contractual obligations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of security experience with previous supervisory experience preferred
- Valid Ontario Security License
- WSIB Approved First Aid and CPR Level C
- Valid G-Class Driver’s License with clean driving abstract
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in post-secondary, healthcare, or large public-facing environments is an asset
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
- Legally Authorized to work in Canada
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training
- The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position
