On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer for a 6 month contract to hire.
Job Overview
As a member of a cross-functional team, the Full Stack Cloud Application Developer will contribute to the implementation of innovative solutions that solve complex business and technical challenges. This role requires a combination of strong software development skills, excellent communication, and production support experience to build and maintain mission-critical enterprise web applications.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, developers, QA, and support teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions. Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-production support. Modernize existing applications using a cloud-first, secure-by-design, API-first approach with microservices architecture. Support continuous integration, automated testing, and production deployments. Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud-native applications. Contribute to ongoing application enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Success Measures
Deliver high-quality technical solutions across multiple initiatives. Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders. Demonstrate adaptability, collaboration, and an Agile mindset. Contribute to a high-performing development team and continuously improve engineering practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 3+ years of Full Stack development experience building enterprise applications, services, and microservices using: C# .NET React JavaScript HTML CSS SQL Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications, preferably using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices. Experience with containerization technologies. Strong understanding of modern web application architecture and design patterns. Experience building responsive user interfaces following modern UI/UX best practices. Production support experience for enterprise applications. Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments. Working knowledge of Azure DevOps. Passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
