An introduction to the systematic study of reasoning, this course will teach the theory and practice of good reasoning. It will provide students with reasoning skills that are useful in whichever discipline and career they may pursue.

Position Requirements

Graduate degree in Philosophy and demonstrated competence in the area of this course. In keeping with the Department’s commitment to providing students with the highest quality education, applicants should provide evidence of high quality teaching. The successful applicant, chosen from those who meet the minimum requirements, will demonstrate that they have the highest quality teaching in the relevant subject area. (Hiring decisions will be made in accordance with the Department’s “Sessional Lecturers: Recruitment and Criteria” document, available upon request.)
