CONTEXT

The role of Sr Team Member International Real Estate requires a close collaboration with various departments such as Finance, Legal, Vendor Maintenance, Project Managers, Product Managers, Procurement, Operations team as well as various landlords wherever business is held.

The Sr Team Member must understand the main SAP system accounting principles as well as being familiar with commercial negotiation and/or Real Estate background.

There are 2 main (but not limited) Objectives in the role,

Invoices & Account Statement reviews; all invoices are paid on time, with no delay and to avoid late payment charges at all costs. Invoices are properly checked at all costs, reconciled and are in accordance with the agreements signed. Contract reviews, negotiation & renewals; ensure all contract milestones are properly read, checked, consulted & triggered to ensure we do not miss critical points that can impact the business.

The Sr Team Member will Manage the day-to-day Real Estate activities.

Assist with the timely negotiation and/or renewal of contracts Assist with the management of accruals & budget outlooks Assist with cost management related activities Assist with the creation of the Annual Operating Plan (i.e. AOP)

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Collegial Diploma in Business administration, Legal/Paralegal, Real Estate or equivalent. Approximatively 5 years of relevant work experience

Other Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of SAP financial system is an important asset Strong knowledge of Excel Very good knowledge of the real estate business sector and associated requirement. Ability to sustain pressure/work under tight deadlines. Autonomy combined with a sense of responsibility and the ability to solve problems. Ability to negotiate contracts since will be expected to contribute to the contract negotiation activities. Very good knowledge of spoken and written French and English. Strong people and communication skills Excellent organizational skills.

Summary Of Functions

Updates SAP/REFX for new or existing lease agreements. Invoice Management: The Assistant Manager will ensure that invoices are received and processed for payment in a timely manner and according to our obligations set forth in said lease agreements for key accounts. Coordinates for necessary approvals as per the Company’s SCM Policy and other related policies. Deals directly with our Finance group on various topics such as pending approvals, escalations, etc Tracks key budget control elements as identified by the management team. Creates reports and keeps up-to-date files in connection with the management of the department. Contract Management: Contributes on new lease agreement & negotiation and renewal. Contributes to the training of new team members. Project Manage ad-hoc missions identified by the management team.
