About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses and treats patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations or disabilities. The Physiotherapist may provide service in outpatient, inpatient and community settings. The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members and caregivers. The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of assistants. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required. The successful applicant may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Bachelor's degree or entry level master program in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists (Provincial licensing body)
- Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook)
- Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS)
- Physiotherapy is a diverse profession requiring additional courses/education/training in many specialized areas or practice, e.g., cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, balance training, etc
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
- Permanent Full-time, 75 Hours Bi-weekly
Compensation and Benefits
$38.43 - $49.74 hourly
