This role sits within Northpoint Commercial Finance, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank. Northpoint provides expert, flexible and personal inventory and equipment financing solutions to manufacturers, dealers and end-users across the U.S. and Canada.

The primary focus of this role is to support the regulatory onboarding of both new and existing clients originated thru our NCF sales organization. This is customer focused role that requires a high level of interpersonal skills to engage collaboratively with your fellow peers, clients and our vendor partners. Responsabilities

  • Work closely with internal NCF teams (Sales, Credit, Legal and Operations) to gain a solid understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory onboarding requirements to explain the context and requirements to our clients and vendor partners.
  • Engage clients and vendor partners directly to obtain the required information for completing KYC verification.
  • Clear, professional writing skills for documenting findings and corresponding with clients

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Post-Secondary education. Studies within a Business program is preferred. Minimum 1 year completed.
  • Comfortable at communicating in a professional manner via email, phone, or thru virtual meeting tools such as Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with a high sense of urgency.
  • Detail oriented, enjoys investigative work, and can handle a high-volume workflow without losing focus.
  • Proficiency using Office 365 applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams at an intermediate level.
  • Bilingual* (French/English) is an asset
