About the Role: As a key member of the Procurement team, this role plays an active part in driving supplier excellence and ensuring smooth operational flow. You will lead communications with suppliers to confirm critical cost and delivery information, maintaining strong partnerships that support business success. You’ll manage and optimize our pricing database, including the review and upload of price lists into Ariba. The role also supports reporting and analysis across Central categories, including vendor assessments and contract updates, helping shape strategic procurement decisions. Working independently, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Ferrero to resolve issues related to vendor payments, year-end processes, and more—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in our procurement operations.
Main Responsibilities: Supplier Communication & Compliance
- Interact with suppliers to ensure adherence to Ferrero’s procurement policies.
- Review and compare price lists submitted by suppliers for codified materials.
Purchase Order & Delivery Management
- Support Buyers in managing the purchase order (PO) process.
- Update systems with delivery date changes and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt.
Pricing & Data Management
- Maintain and manage the pricelist database in Ariba.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure pricing data is accurate and up to date.
Inventory & Finance Support
- Partner with Stores to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Assist the Finance team in resolving invoice and payment issues.
Reporting & Analysis
- Provide regular reporting for Central Procurement, including vendor data and contract updates.
- Support database updates and contribute to procurement analysis initiatives.
Who we are looking for: Knowledge Requirements
- Strong computer literacy, including:
- Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables)
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and general systems use
- Demonstrated positive attitude and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
- Post-secondary education: College diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
