Part-Time Groundskeeper – Astro Hill, Iqaluit, NU
Astro Hill is currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Groundskeeper to support the upkeep and maintenance of our properties in Iqaluit, Nunavut. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for tenants and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the grounds of Astro Hill properties year-round
- Assist with snow removal and seasonal land maintenance
- Ensure entry points are clear and accessible for tenants and visitors
- Support cleaning of common areas and shared spaces
- Provide general assistance with maintenance tasks as needed
Position Details:
- Location: Astro Hill, Iqaluit, NU
- Type: Part-Time (~20 hours per week)
- Compensation: $25.00–$27.50 per hour
- Housing Subsidy: Available for eligible applicants
- Preference: Local candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
Ideal Candidate:
- Physically capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Experience in groundskeeping or maintenance is an asset
- Committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
