We are seeking a Payroll/Office Administrator to join our team at Georgia-Pacific’s OSB facility in Englehart, Ontario. In this role, you will support the day-to-day administration of key office functions, including payroll, onboarding, and general administrative duties.

The Englehart facility is critically important to GP’s Building Products business and is an Oriented Strand Board (OSB) Manufacturing site. This type of OSB is used for floor, wall, and roof sheathing in residential and light commercial construction applications. Our Team

As a key member of our HR team, you'll have the opportunity to work onsite at our manufacturing facility, collaborating with our HR Business Partner and reporting directly to the Manager – HR Business Partner. You'll play a vital role in driving employee engagement and recognition, participating in company events, and shaping our workplace culture. You will support GP employees within Canada, with a primary focus on the Englehart site.

What You Will Do

Provide bi-weekly payroll support (auditing of timesheets & absence requests), including the completion and submission of payroll related documents (spot bonus forms, P-Pay submissions), and ensuring schedules are current. Provide support to external KGS Benefits and Payroll team. Educate and assist mill employees in benefits and pension enrollment. Submit KGS Benefits documentation and follow-up as required. Adding and updating employee information in our HRIS system(s). Create reports out of the Payroll, HRIS, myHR and Genetec security systems. Administrator of mill uniforms Administrator of mill printers and photocopiers Administrator of new hire onboarding process, schedules, and training. Create monthly Union dues report, ensure accuracy and submit for payment. Update mill employee’s emergency contact information in all systems to ensure accurate crossover to other programs & services Assist with office equipment requests as needed (general office hardware setup, compass tickets, information gathering, cell phone repair/replacement). Administering and tracking of company property, ie. Staff phones, GP vehicles, master keys. Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail, and courier packages. Managing office correspondence (mail and filing hard copy and electronic documents; ensuring accurate records management. Finalization and submission of mill expense reports. Manage all employee personnel files and HR files Manage contractor / site visitor security access, and employee access/cards Perform year-end audits, vacation payout and carry-over Assist with year-end tax requirements Administrator of mill events & assist with internal promotional items Additional office and clerical duties as required.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

High School Diploma or GED Experience working in an administrative capacity Experience in payroll administration Experience with MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Salary Range and Reason for Vacancy:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000. This position is a backfill for an employee who vacated the role.
