Lake, AB and are located 1 hour East of Lethbridge, AB. We are a

predominantly Low German Speaking Mennonite demographic with approximately 100

students and a staff of 13.

FTE Temporary Teacher- Jr High Math & Science

Assignment

includes

  • Science 9, Math 6/7 (combined) & Math

8/9 (combined).

We are looking for a temporary 0.5 FTE

Teacher for our Jr. High Math & Science position. Courses include Math 6/7

(Combined), Math 8/9 (Combined) and Science 9. The position will be scheduled

for Monday-Friday a.m. only, which leaves the person hired able to pick up

afternoon guest teaching posts. Classes are small, with approximately 10-15

students.

We are looking for candidates that are adaptable,

student-centered, committed to helping diverse learners achieve academic

success, and can effectively foster positive relationships with students and

staff.

Knowledge of LGM culture would be an asset.

This assignment commences August 20, 2026, and concludes June 29, 2027, or upon return of

incumbent.
