The Opportunity Build the Future with Us — Join our Environment team in Ottawa, Ontario , where you’ll contribute to real‑world environmental solutions that shape healthier, safer, and more resilient communities. As a Junior Acoustics, Noise, and Vibration Specialist , you will support meaningful environmental impact studies across Ontario and beyond, blending field investigations with technical analysis to help deliver high‑value projects.
Your Impact
- Conduct background research, documentation review, and preliminary analysis to support acoustics, noise, and vibration studies.
- Perform field investigations, including environmental noise and vibration measurements.
- Analyze environmental data and contribute to the preparation of technical reports and submission documents.
- Support engineers and senior specialists in delivering project objectives.
- Apply logical problem‑solving to real‑time field challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Contribute to a collaborative and multidisciplinary project environment.
- Travel locally within the GTA for fieldwork, with occasional travel to remote locations as needed.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Degree or diploma in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 0–5 years of relevant field or consulting experience.
- Familiarity with acoustical monitoring, field investigations, or modelling (asset).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑driven, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and reliable access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage.

Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
