Your responsibilities:
- Recommend, conceive and develop copywriting strategies by identifying opportunities where UX writing can enhance the user experience and further business goals.
- Explore innovative concepts and approaches based on feature sets, branding and market positioning, identifying the editorial tone and approach.
- Conceive and write all messaging for a given digital product’s web, app, connected TV and social interfaces.
- Conceive and write navigation and action messages for audio players (screen readers) to ensure optimal, consistent digital accessibility.
- Present and argue the merits of the creative and copywriting strategy to the product team, partners and, if necessary, senior leadership.
- Establish product-specific writing standards, recommending gender-neutral, inclusive and accessible terminology that keeps taxonomy and SEO in mind for all editorial elements requiring user action.
- Provide innovative UX and writing solutions that take into account all UX/technological issues and business strategies.
- Work closely with the product team (strategist, project manager, UX designers, UX researchers, developers and quality controllers) and related departments, including Marketing & Communications.
What you bring:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Three years’ relevant experience in digital copywriting.
Skills
- Excellent command of French.
- Good knowledge of SEO and digital accessibility principles.
- Expertise in user experience (UX) and digital product design.
- Digital strategy or marketing experience an asset.
- Good knowledge of digital best practices and market trends.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to change.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
- Broad general knowledge.
- Curiosity for and interest in the media industry.
Candidates will be tested as follows:
- Practical test: Various editorial situation scenarios.

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
We thank all applicants for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
